There are two amazing query contests that have quick deadlines.

Kathleen Ortiz (the beautifully talented Associate Agent and Foreign Rights Manager at Lowenstein Associates) is hosting the first contest based on a points system that ends TODAY! The prize is a query critique! And she says “And we’re not talking just some comments. We’re talking “Kathleen is going to bust out the red pen and give you as MUCH feedback as possible” critique.” So this is definitely one to try for!

Go to her website to leave a post with your points: http://kortizzle.blogspot.com/2010/02/query-contest.html#comments

The other query contest is being held by the amazing people at Dystel & Goderich Literary Management. According to their website, these are the rules “for people who want to take the chance that their query is one of the ones we post.”

Send a query to dystelandgoderich@dystel.com with the subject line SLUSH WEEK SUBMISSION anytime between now and February 12th.

They are going to pick nine queries at random to critique. Check out their website for more information: http://dglm.blogspot.com/2010/02/slush-week-is-coming.html
