First off – I have a lot of fun news from friends!
Congrats to my dear friend, Shallee McArthur, on her recent announcement that her book, THE UNHAPPENING OF GENESIS LEE, will be published in fall 2014. I absolutely adore this book and can’t wait for it to be on my my shelf!
I’m eagerly awaiting the release of Dan Wells’ final book in his Partials Sequence — RUINS will be out March 11, and believe me, you’ll want to buy it that first day to read the explosive conclusion to a fantastic series!
Just finished this amazing ebook I strongly recommend: PIECES OF JADE by Lani Woodland and Melonie Piper. It’s amazing, so run out and buy it now.
Secondly, Christmas was super amazing at our house. Not only did we get a remote control orca that ‘swims’ in the air (and make me feel like I live in an aquarium), my husband truly understands my nerd self and got me a stockpile of great things, including comic books and firefly: the game! Yes, I’m stoked to watch and read all my new books/movies — but mostly, I’m ready to try out this game. The goal of the game: Find a Crew. Find a Job. Keep Flying. What could be better?
