So March is Movie Madness here on the blog. I’m going to dissect movies to show how they can help us in our writing craft, starting this Friday. So stay tuned for fabulous posts learning more about suspense, surprises, and much much more.
And there’s going to be a contest. Of course!
March Contest Details
This month, the prizes will go to ANYONE WHO LEAVE A COMMENT ON A POST in the month of March. Every blog comment you leave will give you ONE entry into the drawing (maximum of 1 per blog post). Winners will be chosen by drawing from a hat, so a person may win more than one prize, depending on their luck.
What other way is this contest different? The top 3 winners get first pick of the prizes below. So comment comment comment!
The winners will be posted April 4th.
While you won’t get extra entries for tweeting, blogging, or FB’ing this contest, you WILL get extra karma points! And if blog posts start to get over 25 comments per post, then I’ll triple the prizes by adding more books. So tell your friends to comment!
PRIZES? Definitely.
(books are paperback unless otherwise noted by an HC, for hardcover)
The Future of Us by Jay Asher & Carolyn Mackler (HC)
Divergent by Veronica Roth (HC)

Hasbrown Winters and the Mashimoto Madness by Frank L. Cole

The only author I’ve heard of out of these is Tamora Pierce…which is your favorite?
I love all of these books, but DIVERGENT is on my top 10 list, and so is THE FOREST OF HANDS AND TEETH. Jay Asher wrote 13 REASONS WHY, if that rings a bell.
Um, vaguely…I’ve heard of it but never read it. Interesting.
You’ve got some fun books to give away! 🙂 Looking forward to March Movie Madness.
So if I wait to comment here until tomorrow, does it count as a drawing entry? ^_^
Oops. Too late. Or early, depending on how you look at it. Oh well.
Sounds like a great contest! I’ll go share the word. 🙂
Thanks!!!
I really want to read Divergent! Free books always rock!
I didn’t know you had a blog until I saw your link on your facebook thing….way cool so following now 🙂
oops…this is my name 😛
First blog post coming Friday, March 2.
